MEMBERSHIP

Membership development is a key to the success of the Chamber. The Membership Committee is responsible for recruiting and retention of members.  This committee oversees the development of a cohesive membership development strategy.  Committee members will assist in developing targeted industries and business leads for recruitment purposes.  This Committee will also be responsible for assessing the diverse member needs.

MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY

Chair: Harlan T. Jacobs

Both Minnesota and Israel have thriving medical technology industries.  The Medical Technology Committee assists in creating strategic alliances, joint ventures, raising venture capital, and assists in the development of future medical technology trade missions and conferences.

CLEANTECH

Co-Chairs: Todd Taylor and Brian H. Davis

Israel is becoming a global leader in Cleantech.  Ths includes water techmology, renewable energy, green chemistry and other exciting  emerging technologies.  We have regular and direct contact with key Israelis in the field.  Join this Committee to participate in the collaborative opportunities!

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Chair: open

Minnesota has emerged as a leader in information technology, including fiber optics, internet development, eCommerce and the applications of such technologies.  The State of Minnesota can become an excellent trading partner with Israel in the information technology arena.  The Information Technology Committee studies current and future trends in information technology, assists in building strategic alliances, joint ventures, raising venture capital and developing future information technology trade missions and conferences.

 

NETWORKING/COMMUNICATIONS

Chair: Royee Vlodaver

Every successful chamber of commerce must effectively communicate to its members and the general public.  This committee will serve as the editorial board for a quarterly newsletter, oversee the redesign of communications materials and public relations.  Members of the Communications Committee are professionals or highly interested in the graphic arts, web design, publications, newsletter production, or public relations.  This is your opportunity to help shape the visual and public image of the Chamber.
